Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof High Bay LED Fixture, Emergency Battery Backup, CID1
KEMP, Texas, July 30, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof high bay LED fixture for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. This fixture comes with an emergency battery backup and is approved for use in paint spray booths. This fixture is equipped with a four-bolt, flat surface mounting system that is suitable for ceiling, wall and surface mounting applications.
The EPL-EMG-HB-50LED-RT-CM explosion-proof high bay LED fixture is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This LED fixture provides 7,000 lumens of light output while drawing on only 50 watts. The copper-free, aluminum alloy body is powder coated and the LED offers 60,000 hours of life with 80% lumen retention.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof LED fixture features a color temperature of 5600K and a color rendering index of 75. Other temperatures are also available, including 3000K and 4500K. This fixture is universal voltage capable and operates on 100-277V AC 50/60Hz with a low voltage option of 11-25V available. This fixture is IP67 rated and is dust-proof. This unit comes with 10 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord with flying leads and five 3/4-inch NPT threaded ports. Suitable applications include flammable work sites, warehouses, manufacturing plants and more.
