Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Fused Disconnect Switch, 630 Amps, CID1, 600V 3PH

This switch comes with three time-delay fuses and three 630-amp 600V fuses. This 3-pole unit features three NPT hubs and offers a delayed response to transient surges.
The EPFDS-630A-3P-3X630A.600V-TD explosion proof fused disconnect switch is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This unit is ideal for short circuit protection and is rated at three-phase 600V AC. This unit features three 630-amp 3-pole 600V time-delay fuses with a 10-second time delay at 500% overload.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof fused disconnect switch can withstand electrical surges for around 10 to 15 seconds. This unit is made of cast aluminum and stainless-steel cover bolts with an external On/Off lever that can be locked into ‘On’ or ‘Off’ position with room for up to three padlocks for added security. A gasketed flange with an O-ring is available for protection against moisture.
This disconnect switch comes with two 3” NPT hubs at the top and one 0.5” NPT hub at the bottom with a wire size compatibility of #2-600MCM. This unit is compatible with surface mounting applications and is suitable for use in petroleum refineries, chemical plants, storage areas, and more.
