Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof Exit Sign, IP65, 120V/277V AC, CI/D1&2

This explosion-proof exit sign comes equipped with a 1.1-watt LED lamp and helps show workers in hazardous locations where the exit is.
The EXP-EXT-LE6-1L explosion-proof exit sign is a single-sided sign that is ideal for marking exits in hazardous locations. This exit sign is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This unit features a backlit LED array, with each containing eight LED lights.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof LED exit sign draws a total of 1.1 watts and features short circuit and voltage surge protection. This unit’s LED offers a lifespan of 15 years and is approved for outdoor use, including marine environments due to it being resistant to saltwater. This fixture is not factory sealed and operators will need to bring their own wiring to a junction box to complete connections.
This unit can be surface mounted on flat surfaces, such as walls, and can be vertically and horizontally adjusted via unions connecting the upper lamps to the lower indicator light. Suitable applications include use in hazardous and explosive work areas to mark exit-ways in rooms and buildings.
