Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof AC Line Reactor, 2HP, 208V 3PH 60Hz, 16A, NEMA Rated
KEMP, Texas, October 19, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof AC line reactor that protects VFDs and motors from power surges, tripping and overvoltage in hazardous and combustible work locations. This unit offers 2 horsepower and is compatible with three-phase 208V AC 60Hz. This device is made of copper-free aluminum and can be mounted to flat surfaces.
The ETX-ALR-3PH-208V-2HP-16A explosion proof AC line reactor is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This 2-horsepower unit operates on 208V AC 60Hz and is rated at 16 amps. This device offers 1,378 uH inductance (751+ uH) with 6% impedance. This unit features an insulation class of 180 degrees C and a maximum temperature rise of 115 degrees C.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof line reactor features a copper-free aluminum housing with windings made of copper and a gapped iron core. This unit was designed for power conditioning and can be installed at the line side of a VFD. This device comes with terminal blocks for completing electrical connections and two 3/4” hubs on either side. This unit is compatible with surface mounting configurations and is suitable for chemical plants, VFD power conditioning, and more.
