Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof 3-Way Junction Box, (4) Terminal Blocks for 16mm

This copper-free aluminum unit features an internal backplate with terminal blocks. This unit is rated for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous work settings.
The EPL-AEC-5.375-TB.4X16MM-3X2IN explosion-proof three-way junction box is rated for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This unit offers operators protection from explosive hazards and ignitions, dust, rough treatment and harsh environments. This unit comes equipped with a 5.38-inch opening and 305 cubic inches of volume.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof junction box is ATEX/IECEx rated and is made of copper-free aluminum. This unit is compatible with conduit sizes up to 2.5-inches and is rated NEMA 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B, C, D) and 9 (E, F, G). This junction box features an internal backplate with four din rail mount terminal block connections that can handle 66 amps. The terminals are 690V AC rated and can accept up to 16mm or 6 AWG wire. Suitable applications include temperature monitors, gas detectors, pressure gauges and more.
