Larson Electronics Releases Compact Fluorescent Work Light, 12A Single Outlet, 13 Watts, 50-Foot Cord

This all-weather task light can serve as a single outlet to power other devices and can be held or hung for hands-free use. This drop light produces 900 lumens of bright white light at 120 volts.
The FTL-13W-50 13-watt compact fluorescent drop light offers 10,000 hours of lamp life with a fluorescent bulb that is connected to an electrical ballast, which means no flickering during extreme weather. This drop light offers a 6000K color temperature and has a CFL lamp that is protected by a high gloss reflector that is both chemical and UV resistant. This light can be held, hung or stood upright and features two nylon tipped hooks for hanging with a 90-degree cord swivel that allows the light to sit on its base for hands-free use.
Larson Electronics’ fluorescent work light features a polycarbonate lens that features an optic top allowing for the floodlight to switch modes and become a spotlight when necessary. This unit’s handle is made of polypropylene and is flame retardant for added safety and features a rocker On/Off switch to power the light without removing the power cord. The handle features a 12-amp receptacle socket at the end and is powered by a 50-foot SJT cable operating on 120V. Suitable applications include general industrial work settings.
