Larson Electronics Releases Buck/Boost Step-Down Transformer, Single Phase, 250V Primary, 234V Secondary
KEMP, Texas, July 16, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a single-phase buck and boost step-down transformer for indoor and outdoor use. This unit provides protection against critical equipment failure and extra support by isolating the power source from the connected device. This 11.72 kVA unit provides a primary voltage of 250V AC and a secondary voltage of 234V AC.
The MT-BBT-250V-234V-50.08A single-phase buck and boost step-down transformer features a primary voltage of 235V AC using a maximum of 46.88 amps and a secondary voltage of 234V AC providing up to 50.08 amps. This unit’s cores are made with non-aging cold-rolled silicon steel laminations. This device features aluminum winding made from high-quality aluminum with close tolerances used during manufacturing to eliminate burrs.
Larson Electronics’ single-phase buck and boost transformer features a NEMA 3R painted steel enclosure and can be wall or floor mounted. This unit features 130˚C insulation with an 80˚C temperature rise. This unit is encapsulated in silica sand and resin and features knockout hubs on either side and bottom of the transformer for easy line-in and line-out wiring. Suitable applications include lighting systems, air conditioners, motor applications, and more.
