Larson Electronics Releases 50W Explosion-Proof Low Bay LED Light, 7,000 Lumens, Paint Spray Booth Approved
KEMP, Texas, August 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof low bay LED light fixture for use in hazardous locations. This unit is capable of replacing 250-watt metal halide lamps and produces 7,000 lumens of light output. This unit carries an IP67 waterproof rating and offers a 60,000+ hour lifespan of the LED lamp.
The EPLC2-LB-50LED-RT-WLM hazardous location low bay LED fixture is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This factory-sealed unit is protected by a copper-free aluminum housing with an epoxy powder coated finish for added durability. This low bay LED light features a color temperature of 5600K with 3000K and 4500K options available.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof low bay LED fixture is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277V AC 50/60Hz. Low voltage options are available that operate on AC/DC voltages from 11 to 25 volts. This unit comes equipped with an internal wiring junction box built into the fixture’s mount and a total of four 3/4-inch NPT hubs for running conduit. This unit comes standard with a wall-mount configuration and is recommended for lower mounting heights between 15 and 40 feet. Suitable applications include paint spray booths, chemical manufacturing and more.
