Larson Electronics Releases 45 kVA Power Distribution System, 480V 3PH to 3PH 120/208Y
KEMP, Texas, June 12, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 45 kVA power distribution system that converts 480V AC three-phase electrical current into three-phase 120/208Y three-phase Wye. This system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from generators and direct grid power.
The MGS-45KVA-12X120-2X208 power distribution system is designed to operate with 480V three-phase, which is turned into 120V single-phase and 208 Wye. This system makes 120V AC available through 12 GFCI protected 20-amp receptacles and two 208V receptacles. This unit comes equipped with 20 feet of 4/4 SOOW cord that connects line-in power to a fused On/Off disconnect switch that controls current to the 45 kVA 480V three-phase transformer.
Larson Electronics’ power distribution system features a load center/distribution assembly that is mounted to a standard 2” by 2” by 1/8” square carbon steel tubing frame and is equipped with forklift skid pockets and locking polyurethane casters. This transformer is grounded to the frame with a grounding lug that is provided. Suitable applications include use indoors and outdoors, construction sites, plant maintenance and turnarounds, and more.
