Larson Electronics Releases 3PH Temporary Power Distribution System, 15 kVA, 600V to 208Y/120V
KEMP, Texas, March 27, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 15 kVA rated temporary power distribution system that converts three-phase 600V AC electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit allows operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 600V AC power from generators and direct grid power.
The MGL-15KVA-600.3P2X480.60-6X120.20 portable temporary power distribution system allows operators to power their 600V and 120V equipment from a single system. The primary side connects three-phase 600V using a customer-provided cord and to two ADR6034 receptacles for 600V equipment. The secondary side features six 5-20R GFCI receptacles for 120V equipment with all receptacles equipped with weatherproof covers.
Larson Electronics’ temporary power distribution system has a powder coated steel frame with run-flat wheels with the transformer and load center/distribution assembly mounted to a standard steel cart style frame. This NEMA 3R rated unit’s transformer is grounded to the frame with a grounding lug that is provided. Suitable applications include indoor or outdoor use at construction sites, plant maintenance and turnarounds, and more.
