Larson Electronics Releases 3PH Delta Step-Up Buck and Boost Transformer, 4.69 Amps, 240D Primary & 270D Secondary
KEMP, Texas, May 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a three-phase step-up buck and boost transformer for indoor and outdoor use. This 4.69-amp unit provides protection against critical equipment failures and isolates the power source from the connected device for added protection. This unit carries a 2.21 kVA rating and a primary voltage of 240V Delta.
The MT-BBT-240D-270D-3P-4.69A three-phase step-up buck and boost transformer has a primary voltage of 240V Delta using a maximum of 5.31 amps and a secondary voltage of 270V Delta providing up to 4.69 amps. This unit’s cores are made of non-aging cold-rolled silicon steel laminations and provide lower heat emissions for higher energy efficiency. This unit features a NEMA 3R painted steel enclosure and can be wall or floor mounted.
Larson Electronics’ buck and boost transformer features a 180 degrees C insulation with a 115 degrees C temperature rise. The aluminum windings are formed from high-quality aluminum wire for improved performance with close tolerances used during manufacturing to eliminate burrs. The cores are coated to resist dust, dirt and humidity and are electrically balanced to minimize axial forces during short circuit events. Suitable applications include air conditioners, lighting systems, motor applications, and more.
