Larson Electronics Releases 3P Delta Buck & Boost Step-Up Transformer, 208V Primary, 230V Secondary
KEMP, Texas, April 2, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a three-phase Delta buck and boost 50/60Hz transformer for use indoors and outdoors. This transformer provides protection against critical equipment failures by isolating the power source from the connected device. This 2.48 kVA unit has a primary voltage of 208V and a secondary voltage of 230V.
The MT-BBT-208D-230D-3P-6.25A Delta buck and boost transformer is a three-phase unit that provides 208 V Delta with 6.88 amps on the primary side and 230V Delta with 6.25 amps on the secondary side. This unit’s cores are manufactured with non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations and is highly energy efficient. This unit is suitable for indoor or outdoor use with a NEMA 3R painted steel enclosure.
Larson Electronics’ three-phase buck and boost transformer can be wall or floor mounted and features 180˚C insulation with a 115˚C temperature rise. Precision cut aluminum transformer winding material helps to improve performance with close tolerances used during manufacturing to eliminate burrs. Suitable applications include use with air conditioners, lighting systems, heating elements, and more.
