Larson Electronics Releases 25W Explosion Proof Low-Profile LED Light, 3,294 Lumens, 12V DC
KEMP, Texaas, August 1, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of an explosion proof integrated LED light fixture rated for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. This 25-watt unit has a T5 temperature rating and is designed for use in locations where flammable vapors and gases, and combustible dusts and fibers may be present. This unit is also for use in NEMA 3, 4X and IP66 locations where wind, water, or snow could exist.
The HAL-19-25W-ITG-LED-12VDC explosion proof linear LED light measures 3.92” tall and 18.73” long and offers 3,294 lumens of light output while drawing on only 2.1 amps on 12V DC. This LED is protected by an impact and vibration resistant polycarbonate lens and housed in a copper-free extruded aluminum body. This unit features a one-wiring access plate and silicon gasketing between the lens and housing to provide NEMA 4X and IP66 sealing.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof low-profile LED light fixture comes with supplemental 20kA/10kA surge protection and can accommodate a variety of mounting options, including swivel, wall, beam and ceiling. The end caps on this unit have two built-in mounting feet and feature a choice of a 1/2" or 3/4" NPT hub. This unit is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class I, Zone 2, Groups IIC, IIB, and IIA; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations.
This light fixture offers an operating temperature range of -30˚C to 65˚C with a clear or frosted lens. The LED offers a 5000K color temperature rating and the fixture provides a 160˚ beam angle. Suitable applications include paint spray booths, refineries, chemical manufacturing, and more.
