Larson Electronics Releases 25' Telescoping Tower With 6000W Generator, Water-Cooled Diesel Engine
KEMP, Texas, April 8, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a mobile, towable telescoping light tower. This LED light plant is powered by a water-cooled diesel engine, turning a single bearing 4-pole generator producing 6,000 watts at 120/240V at 60Hz. This unit features four 100-watt LED lamps, producing a total of 54,000 lumens of light that illuminates a three- to four-acre area.
The WCDE-4-4X90LTL-LED-MOD1 25-foot, three-section telescoping light tower features LEDs that are a direct replacement for metal-halide lights. This tower is trailer mounted with a generator equipped with a 30-gallon fuel tank that runs continuously without refueling for up to 120 consecutive hours. The light mast can be elevated to a height of 25 feet and features a Kubota diesel engine operating at 1800 rpm. This telescoping boom is made of galvanized steel and can withstand winds up to 51 mph at full height.
Larson Electronics’ 25-foot telescoping light tower features LED lights that can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40˚C to 80˚C and are waterproof and can resist humidity, dust and dirt. The housings of this unit are made of die-cast aluminum, and the optics are made of high-transmission PMMA with 98 percent light transmittance. The operations system on this unit has four circuit breaker protected switches, an alternator warning light, a fuel primer system and a preheating switch.
