Larson Electronics Releases 1PH Buck and Boost Step-Down Transformer, 240V Primary, 208Y Secondary

This transformer offers protection against critical equipment failures and extra protection for operators by isolating the power source from the connected device. This unit features a 22.1 kVA rating and a primary voltage of 236V AC at 93.7 amps.
The MT-BBT-240-208-100A single-phase buck and boost step-down transformer offers a primary voltage of 236V AC, using a maximum of 93.7 amps and a secondary voltage of 208 providing up to 106 amps on the secondary side. This unit’s cores are made of non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations and close tolerances used during manufacturing to eliminate burrs and improve performance. The NEMA 3R painted steel enclosure allows for indoor and outdoor use and can be floor or wall-mounted.
Larson Electronics’ buck and boost transformer features a 180˚C insulation with a 115˚ temperature rise. The copper winding inside this device is made from high-quality magnetic copper wire to improve performance, and each core is specially coated to prevent moisture.
