Larson Electronics Releases 150W Explosion Proof Sanitary LED Light, IP67, CID1, 17,500 Lumens
KEMP, Texas, July 3, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a 150-watt explosion proof sanitary LED light that provides 17,500 lumens of light output for use in wet areas. This light features Cree LED technology and a compact design with 304 stainless-steel mounting components.
The EPL-PT-SS.SLM-150LED-RT explosion proof sanitary LED light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous work locations. This light fixture produces 17,500 lumens of light while drawing only 150 watts. The LEDs feature a color temperature of 5000K, 4000K and 3000K with a rendering index of 75.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof sanitary LED light fixture offers a 60,000-hour lifespan and 80% lumen retention. This unit features an adjustable swivel bracket made of 3/8” aluminum allowing for 270˚ adjustment and is attached to a slip fit yoke for easy installment. The wiring of this unit is potted and terminated in a junction box with 3/4" threaded hub. The body of this light is made of copper-free aluminum and is powder coated for added durability.
For 60˚ beam efficiency the unit should be mounted in high bay fixtures over 25 feet in height and 25 feet away from objects. The 125˚ beam is ideal for low bay fixtures at heights between 15 and 25 feet and the same distance away from objects. The 140˚ beam is ideal for low beam fixtures with ceiling heights 15 feet or lower and the same distance away from objects. This light fixture is universal voltage capable and operates with 100-277V AC 50/60Hz. This unit is suitable for use in commercial and industrial settings.
