Larson Electronics Releases 100W Explosion Proof LED Work Light, Portable, 14,000 Lumens, CID1&2
KEMP, Texas, September 4, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof LED work light with encapsulated inline transformer rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This portable light features a 16” Cree LED light head that produces 14,000 lumens of light while drawing on only 100 watts. This low-voltage light provides 9,000+ square feet of work area coverage.
The EPL-PM-100LED-110X24I-50 explosion proof LED work light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This work light is mounted within an A-frame portable stand made of non-sparking aluminum and powder coated for added durability. The encapsulated stepdown transformer provides power to the light and converts AC input voltage to 24V DC for the light head.
Larson Electronics’ portable explosion proof LED work light features a 16” wide by 14” tall rectangular LED light head mounted within a pedestal base stand with a carrying handle on top. The lamp can be adjusted down 90˚ and locked into position. The LED offers a color temperature of 5000K, 4000K or 3000K and a color rendering index of 75. This unit offers 60,000 hours of lamp life and comes with 50 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord.
This unit comes in either a 60˚ beam angle or a 125˚ beam angle and is multi-voltage capable. This unit is configured to operate on 100-130V AC with inline transformer. The encapsulated AC to DC transformer steps the 110V AC input voltage down to 24V DC. The LED has a T5 temperature rating and is suitable for use in hazardous industrial settings and commercial environments.
