Laptops Number One Stolen Item In NSW
Online, November 20, 2011 (Newswire.com) - NRMA Insurance has commissioned a bespoke laptop designed in collaboration with Sydney based artist Kate Banazi for Melissa Hoyer, lifestyle journalist and commentator. The customised laptop highlights the number of laptops that are lost, accidentally broken and stolen in NSW every year.
In the last financial year, laptops were the number one most popular item with NSW thieves*. NRMA Insurance research** shows that more than 75% of people in NSW did not claim for laptops that were lost, accidentally damaged or stolen. The main reason for not claiming was lack of adequate insurance cover.

Together, we picked up on the key elements of the things she loves, some of which symbolise the work she does too; a certain shoe, a specific lipstick, plane tickets, invitations, a bit of social media and underpinning the whole, a few bits of lego. I hope I have managed to convey just a little bit of the genuine warmth, wit and humour Melissa showed me."
