LA Attractions Get New Discount Pass
Online, June 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - It makes a refreshing change to find something that is actually available cheaper than the usual price increases we have become accustomed to. A new discount pass for most LA attractions has been launched by 'LA PERKS'.
I spoke with the director of the company, Trevor Parsons and he had this to say, "Ever since the economy soured in 2007/8 the Los Angeles concierge community have been working on a stimulus plan to bring the fun back. Using L.A.'s premier concierges insider knowledge we created the LA PERKS PASS and packed it with the best things to do in Los Angeles.
We have used their personal relationships with their favourite restaurants, shopping, amusement parks, spas, museums, & attractions to create the be-all and end-all perks program!
What really sets it apart is the high quality, low cost ($29.99) and multi-purpose and person use (1 card for 4 people). We noticed that current programs are only good for one person and for one category, i.e., dining, shopping, amusement parks and that they definitely weren't created by someone in the know. If it's not premium and fun and won't save you money in Los Angeles, it's not in the LA PERKS PASS! We have made it available online or at the top hotels in Los Angeles."
Having looked at their website it is clear that a lot of background work was done before embarking on this project. It is because of the dedication of the directors that this will be a benefit not only to those looking to have a fun day out but will boost the appeal of local attractions within the LA area and therefore hopefully stimulate a flagging tourist industry.
Over the course of the next two weeks i am going to be reporting on several of the attractions that you can benefit from by using the pass and will be reporting in my travel column on how and what makes for a fun day out in California.
