Keystone Industries Donates a Portion of Profits to Families Fighting Childhood Cancer

Winder, Ga., September 11, 2015 (Newswire.com) - This September, Keystone Industries is proud to share that a portion of monies from September sales will be donated to the Lighthouse Family Retreat! Founded in 1999, the Lighthouse Family Retreat serves families living with childhood cancer by creating a seaside environment in which they can rest, restore relationships, experience joy and find hope in God. Lighthouse Family Retreat is unique in that it has a whole-family focus, helping parents and siblings heal and rejuvenate together alongside the child with cancer. Keystone has partnered with Lighthouse for several years, and President/CEO Marc Carson has been a retreat leader on a number of occasions, joined by his wife Carol and his children Caitlyn and Cody.

Primarily held along the Florida panhandle in communities such as Seaside, Watercolor and Gulf Place, Lighthouse offers family-centered activities to help them “feel like a family” again. While children spend their days playing in a carefree environment, parents share a daily group meeting called “Common Ground”, which provides a safe place to share with others living through similar life challenges.  Some highlights of the retreat include a dance party under the stars, a talent show, and an evening getaway for parents to share a special date night.
