Kelli Nielsen Promoted to Executive Vice President of Retail Banking and Marketing at 1st Security Bank

1st Security Bank announces that Kelli Nielsen has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President of Retail Banking and Marketing. The promotion will be effective immediately.

Kelli has 26 years of banking experience including one year at 1st Security, where she has served as Senior Vice President of Retail Sales. Previously, Kelli was SVP of Retail Banking at Sound Community Bank, and Vice President, Sales and Service Manager of Retail Banking at Cascade Bank. Kelli began her banking career at Seafirst/Bank of America.

Kelli is passionate about building relationships and helping others; she served on the Washington Bankers Association Education Committee for 14 years. She is the current Chair of the WBA Retail Leadership Committee. Kelli is a 2016 Graduate of the American Bankers Association — Stonier School of Banking and is a Task Force Committee Member for Women and is a 2016/2017 Capstone Advisor to other third year students at the American Bankers Association — Stonier School of Banking.

Kelli has also authored and published two children's books, is a Certified Life Coach, holds a Certificate of Leadership from Wharton and holds three certificates from the Ritz Carlton Leadership Training Center. Kelli enjoys working with children and recently returned from a volunteer trip to Guatemala to assist Long Way Home, a nonprofit she has been involved with for seven years, in building schools with sustainable materials.
