Kelley Kronenberg Continues Firm-Wide Philanthropic Initiative With a Thanksgiving Food Drive

Kelley Kronenberg offices across Florida donate Thanksgiving items to organizations around the state

Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse full-service law firm, organized a firm-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive as part of its ongoing Kelley Kronenberg Cares (KKC) initiative. KKC was created to provide opportunities for the firm’s attorneys and staff to personally commit to civic and charitable efforts in the cities where the firm’s offices are located.

“This is our second KKC project and something we all feel very strongly about. Sadly, too many of our neighbors are struggling to put food on the table for their families. We hope that through these donations we helped make the Thanksgiving holiday a bit easier for these well deserving individuals,” said Kelley Kronenberg CMO, Thomas Choberka, who leads the firm’s KKC efforts in the Fort Lauderdale office.

Throughout the month of November, the members of Kelley Kronenberg’s offices across Florida collected everything from canned food items to kitchen supplies and toys to donate to an organization in their respective communities.

Donations were made in the following cities to these organizations:

·                    Fort Lauderdale Office – The Pantry of Broward, Inc., led by attorney Shanon Lazarus and firm CMO Thomas Choberka

·                    West Palm Beach Office – Bill Brooks' Food For Families, led by partner Amy B. Siegel

·                    Miami Lakes and Brickell Offices – First Presbyterian Church of Miami, led by partner Julie L. Swindell and attorney Patrick J. Davis.

·                    Tampa Office – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay, led by partner Dana G. Andrews

·                    Orlando Office – Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, led by attorney Shannon M. Cook

The firm’s first KKC project in August involved a statewide school supplies drive for students. In addition to the firm’s regular philanthropic work, the KKC program will host a Girl Scout Cookies for Overseas Troops initiative in the coming months.

“Our attorneys and staff have all embraced this philanthropy program and have come together for the benefit of all of our communities. We also enjoy working with these wonderful charitable organizations that tirelessly help those in need,” said Choberka.
