Katz's Deli Plans Active Expansion Across Houston

Katz's Deli

Katz’s Deli & Bar is bringing its New York Deli roots to a wider Houston market. The popular New York-style restaurant, best known for its 24-hour location on Westheimer, is actively planning an expansion of four to six more Houston locations. Katz’s has teamed up with local architecture firm Mirador Group to design several stylish and up-to-date spaces that appeal to both a broader, and younger demographic of Houstonians.

But it’s not just the interior that’s getting a “Brooklyn style” boost. Katz’s Deli & Bar is also planning to offer more local craft beers on tap and a more robust cocktail menu, as each new location will have a full service bar. Of course, its fan-favorite menu items, including signature overstuffed deli sandwiches like the Reuben, foot long hot dogs, “Barry’s Burgers,” home-style entrees and New York style desserts will all be available at the new locations.entrees and New York style desserts will all be available at the new locations.

"We're very excited about being able to bring our signature New York Deli flavor to more locations across Houston. Our fried pickles are the perfect bar snack, so we decided each new location needed a bar! By going with Mirador Group to design our new restaurants, we're bringing a more stylish Brooklyn inspired neighborhood feel to the Katz's concept, while retaining the bustling and authentic deli experience of our original Westheimer location."
