Recent graduate from Kansas City Art Institute, Stephen C Proski will have his most recent art work unveiled at the City of Gladstone's Community Center located at 6901 N. Holmes Gladstone, Mo 64118 on December 7th from 6PM to 8PM. Stephen describes his work as follows:

There are fragments and there are pieces, there is resolution and there is uncertainty, but what is most apparent as a prominent theme is the notion of focused spontaneity. Utilizing a specific set of restrictions, and literal color palette, this latest work by Stephen C. Proski directs itself in a manner reflextive of personal idenity and confinement, using humor and wit as mere undertones to thematically categorize the content of what is on display. This series explores how a surface can be fixed and treated, though manipulated to the point of a finished product.

Stephen has exhibited work throughout Kansas City and is featured in several private collections nationally. Despite his visual impairment, Stephen continues to grow as an artist.

You can meet and talk with the artist at 6:30PM in the Community Center and light refreshments will be served a the event.
