Junior League of Boca Raton "Tip Their Hats" to the 24th Annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Nominees
Online, September 4, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Junior League of Boca Raton will hold its 2011 Woman Volunteer of the Year (WVOY) luncheon, Friday October 6th 2011 at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. In its 24th year, the annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon will celebrate local women in the community and their pledge to outstanding volunteerism. This year attendees are being asked to wear hats to support the nominees and celebrate the Junior League of Boca Raton's 40 years of service. In 2010, The Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon raised over $162,000 to support the Junior League of Boca Raton's Mission to improve the community.
The prestigious WVOY luncheon will recognize 22 nominees from various non-profit organizations throughout Palm Beach County for their dedication and expertise as volunteers.
