John Wayne Enterprises Appoints Lisa Streff To Senior Vice President Of Global Partnerships & Licensing

Veteran Consumer Products Executive to Spearhead Domestic Licensing, Merchandising and Partnership Initiatives and International Expansion of the Iconic John Wayne Brand

John Wayne Enterprises, LLC, exclusive owner and licensor of the John Wayne brand, has appointed Lisa Streff to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships & Licensing. The announcement was made today by Ethan Wayne, President of John Wayne Enterprises, to whom she reports.

In her new position, Streff will oversee the development and implementation of worldwide licensing and merchandising and corporate and promotional partnership programs with a mission to increase the global awareness of the John Wayne brand. Her initial focus will be to further develop and expand two core licensing programs: the "classic collectibles," which targets adult collectors and John Wayne fans; and the John Wayne lifestyle program, inspired by John Wayne's western casual heritage and geared towards the young adult male. Streff will pursue licensing partnerships for each program in key categories, including collectibles, apparel, accessories, publishing, interactive, and more. Additionally, she will spearhead the development and execution of a new branded licensing and entertainment program for kids.

Streff has spent over 15 years in the consumer products industry, serving in executive and management level positions at major studios, as well as a leading independent children's company. Prior to joining John Wayne Enterprises, she most recently served as Senior Vice President of U.S. Consumer Products at Cookie Jar Entertainment (previously DIC Entertainment), overseeing consumer product sales and retail development for renowned children's and 'tween' brands such as Strawberry Shortcake, Bobby Jack, Mommy & Me, Richard Scarry, Cake, Caillou, Johnny Test, Lucha Libre and other library titles. She identified and developed strategic plans for new business opportunities and managed and negotiated representation rights from property owners. Streff also analyzed licensing prospects for the Company's CBS children's television morning block.

Previously, Streff served for eight years in the consumer products division at NBC/Universal and in her last position as Director of Hardlines, she negotiated and secured multiple master toy deals for Land Before Time, King Kong, Curious George, Cat in the Hat, and Little Engine That Could. Additionally during her tenure at NBC/Universal, she was responsible for creating Universal Presents line, which incorporated many properties, product lines and channels of distribution, and in other managerial positions, Streff worked on major brands, including How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Mummy Returns, Scorpion King, and Josie & The Pussycats.
