Online, August 12, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (Norwich, UK). In an interview with African Business Review, Managing Director Johan Pieterse discusses the contracts the company has in place with the biggest names in mining, including Xstrata, BHP Billiton, and Optimum Coal.

Jef Drill & Blast is part of the Sentula Mining Group, formerly known as Scharrig Mining, and has been a drilling and blasting company since inception. The company uses 45 specialist drilling rigs in the opencast mining sector, primarily in coal. This division services all of Sentula's opencast mining as well as an expanding client base.

"Next up for us is to get over the recession and the new sense now is that there are fresh expectations in terms of the economy," said Pieterse. "We need to get our customer base excited again about the future and make the company stable," he added.
