Japanese Company Cera Travel Starts Trend Of Solo Weddings For Single Women

Solo weddings have become the new trend in Japan. Single, working women can now experience the biggest day of their lives without having to find a man.

Japanese travel company Cera Travel has launched wedding packages targeted toward single women. This trend of solo weddings is to give financially independent women the wedding of their dreams without having to find a groom. These women have been so focused on further their careers that they still find themselves single later in life.

The package is a two-day event consisting of a dress fitting, bouquet selection, hair and makeup and a photo shoot. These women even have the option for a stand-in man to accompany them in the photos.

The service was first started in June and has since seen major success. Working women who are too focused on their careers or those who are divorced finally get to experience their perfect wedding with a happier ending.

The wedding package costs just over $2,500, which is just a fraction of the cost of a real wedding.

A 43-year-old businesswoman recently purchased the package. She claimed that being pampered like that was fun and a great experience overall.

The company found that many of the women enjoying solo weddings actually have boyfriends and invited them in the honeymoon suite afterwards.

Every detail of the wedding is taken care of by the company. They even offer Geisha service for those brides who do not want a traditional white wedding dress.
