IQP Corporation and IBM to Collaborate in Japan and Global Markets

IQP Corporation, developer of a non-programming Development Environment for cross platform IoT/M2M Apps and Enterprise Applications, will be paired with IBM cloud and server solutions (IBM Bluemix™ / IBM Softlayer™). The IQP platform transforms data from M2M, sensors and devices into IoT-ready apps for a wide variety of markets, from connected cars to enterprise apps and smart cities.

IQP Corporation (IQP Japan Co., Ltd. Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Guy Kaplinsky) has agreed with IBM Japan (HQ: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Paul Yonamine, IBM) for mutual collaboration on the companies’ respective Internet of Things (IOT), cloud and server solutions.

The IQP system supports rapid, code-free enterprise-wide IoT application development, enabling IoT initiatives to be easily implemented and deliver demonstrated ROI. This cooperation will extend IQP’s market penetration in Japan and in worldwide markets for its IoT platform solution, with the capability to layer on IBM, server products and cloud services, such as IBM Bluemix™ and Softlayer™.

Guy Kaplinsky, President of IQP Japan Corporation, comments: "This collaboration with IBM will further strengthen IQP's ability to support enterprise application development. We are collaborating with IBM on the interoperability of the IQP solution with IBM's Bluemix™ and Softlayer™ cloud services and solutions."

Following IQP’s successful graduation from the Alpha Zone Accelerator in September, IBM and IQP have expanded their technical cooperation on the IQP system and IBM’s products and services.

IQP demonstrated its IoT solution at two IBM industry events in the United States; IBM Insight 2015, which was held October 25-29th, in Las Vegas, and on November 3-4, 2015 at the IBM Internet of Things conference in Virginia.
