InZone Marketing Team Enjoys Travel Opportunities
InZone Marketing's director of operations acknowledged the value of company travel, and discussed some of the team's excursions. He also shared some of their specific benefits.
Berkeley, CA, August 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - At InZone Marketing, team members aren’t confined to boring cubicles. According to Brian, the firm’s director of operations, they enjoy various sources of inspiration and motivation – both in and out of work. “I think our travel schedules say a lot about how active we are,” he said. “Getting away allows for exciting adventures, which benefits us personally and professionally in various ways.”
Brian was happy to elaborate. “Trips are important because they allow individuals to learn how to adapt to various work environments, work on self-management skills, and get a chance to have some team bonding time,” he stated. “With every conference, training session, or meeting we attend, we gain knowledge on the bigger picture of our growth opportunities. We also learn how to become better leaders for our teams based on our experiences.”

Brian, Director of Operations
Select members of the InZone Marketing team recently traveled to the quarterly leadership conference. During that time, Brian gave a presentation on team building, explaining how the group builds long-lasting relationships. He and his colleagues are already looking forward to the next meeting. In the meantime, the director is planning an all-expenses paid trip to a resort in the Bahamas.
“Our upcoming retreat to the Bahamas is especially exciting,” Brian stated. “It will be a time for us to reflect on past success and look forward to achieve future endeavors that will help our company grow in ways we have never seen before. Only our highest achievers will be invited to attend, and their names will be announced in October.”
Leader of InZone Marketing Highlights Career Skills Honed Through Business Travel
“In addition to all the benefits I already mentioned, there are some specific on-the-job skills that grow from our travels,” Brian continued. “Time management is a big one. When you are expected to catch flights, be on time for training sessions, get acquainted with people, and still have time to rest and eat, you have to allocate your time accordingly.”
Along the same lines, Brian pointed out that such busy travel and conference schedules can be a bit overwhelming. As such, it challenges InZone Marketing’s team members to recognize when they’re getting too stressed. They learn what to do to manage their feelings. Some retreat to their rooms to meditate or even nap, for instance.
“Whatever challenges my people are faced with, they always adapt,” Brian concluded. “They amaze me every day. I’m proud to be able to reward them with exciting trips.”
