HTC has announced the launch of 5.9" smartphone - HTC One max. The phone is enhanced with features such as fingerprint Scan, BlinkFeed, Zoe and BoomSound combined with the new HTC Sense 5.5.

The HTC One max also features full HD1080p display, 2.1MP front-facing camera and quad-core 1.7 GHz CPU enabling jaw-dropping performance, ultra-vivid videos and booming sound. The 16GB or 32GB onboard memory can be expanded with the microSD card slot. Additionally, 50GB of additional free Google Drive online storage is also being offered to HTC One max owners.
Available in Glacial Silver, the HTC One Max is priced at an MRP of Rs.61,490/- and MOP (Best Buy) of Rs.56,490/-.
Design
As for the size and build, iPhone 5s seems almost identical to its predecessor, iPhone 5. The device is 123.8 mm tall, 58.6 mm wide, 7.6 mm deep and weighs 112 gms, same as iPhone 5. The "Home Button" has been updated a bit, which is not concave anymore and the squircle icon found on previous models has been done away with. The button is surrounded by a metallic ring and has a flat design. Along with closing the active app and navigating to the home page, the button is used to access the Touch ID. Another notable improvement over the iPhone 5 is the improved duel-LED flash on the back. iPhone 5s is available in three different color finishes, namely white with gold trim, white with silver trim and space grey with slate trim.
HTC One Max is 164.5 mm tall, 82.5 mm wide, 10.29 mm deep and weighs 217 gms, almost double the iPhone 5s. The design is almost identical to that of the HTC One, retaining the aluminum body and look, except that the power button has been moved to the right-hand side which is a welcome decision, features a plastic bezel like HTC One Mini and has a removable back cover that exposes Micro SD and micro-SIM slots. Inclusion of the rear fingerprint scanner is a major change, which we'll deal with later.
Display
Just like the older variant, iPhone 5s features a 4-inch screen with Retina display, with a resolution of 1136×640 at 326 ppi. It seems that Apple is sticking with smaller screens. HTC One Max has a bigger 5.9 inch 1920×1080 pixels screen with 373 ppi density.
Camera
Apple Introduces iPhone 5
iPhones have always shined in the camera department. Taking a cue from the HTC One, Apple this time decided to focus on increasing the sensor size to help capture more light, rather than increasing MP. This offers better shots in low light situations, along with sharper and more vibrant images. The iPhone 5s retains the 8MP rear camera of its predecessor, adding a duel-LED flash called True Tone that provides more natural skin tones, auto image stabilization, larger pixel size (1.5um vs. 1.4um) and larger aperture (f/2.2 vs. f/2.4). The iSight camera also offers slow motion video at 120 fps. The FaceTime HD front camera is of 1.2 MP and a larger pixel size (1.9um), and features a BSI sensor.

HTC One Max offers a 4MP rear camera with an UltraPixel image sensor and LED flash. The front camera is of 2.1 MP. HTC hasn't brought about any significant improvements in this regard and the iPhone 5s camera is the winner here.
