Introducing Inquidia - Building the Data-driven Enterprise

OpenBI is rebranding as Inquidia to better express their position in the evolving data analytics market.
Inquidia

OpenBI is now known as Inquidia Consulting. The new brand better reflects the diversity of end-to-end data services that the company brings to its clients. “We are passionate about data. And so are the companies we work with,” says president Steve Miller. “And this passion has taken us beyond the original OpenBI mission.”

Beginning in 2006, OpenBI founded its core business on building traditional data infrastructure and BI solutions relying heavily on emerging open source software development models. “Our work began to change about three years ago’” says Miller, explaining the reason for the new branding. “Our customers became more focused on data as a foundational, revenue-generating product and were less concerned about open source as a differentiator. These customers were all about data. They were truly data-driven enterprises.”

We are passionate about data. And so are the companies we work with. And this passion has taken us beyond the original OpenBI mission.

Steve Miller, President

OpenBI has successfully helped customers take their analytics to new levels, but realized their name – with its nod to open source – no longer reflected the diversity of services or the company’s core values.

Welcome to Inquidia Consulting. The name itself is a play on the words “inquiry” and “data” – two words at the heart of the company’s mission to deliver full spectrum data engineering and analytics services that help customers inquire, learn and take action with their data.

“We feel it only makes sense to position all our offerings in a modern data context,” says Miller. “Data strategy, data architecture, data engineering, data analytics and data science describe the work we're now engaged in, building off of our DW/BI legacy.”

The company has introduced a new logo and launched a redesigned website, www.inquidia.com. Inquidia Consulting has been growing continuously since its founding. Starting in 2006 with only four consultants, Inquidia now has over 20 employees serving clients in diverse industries ranging from healthcare to media to logistics.
