International AgTech Company and Top AgriFood StartUp Aims to Transform Crop Efficiency for American Farmers

Solinftec nominated for 2019 AgFunder Innovation Award

Solinftec, a leading international digital ag company, is among the top 60 agrifood tech startups nominated for a 2019 AgFunder Innovation Award. The awards recognize the innovators and entrepreneurs driving the agrifood tech sector. Winners will be announced at the ReThink Agri-Food Innovation Week in San Francisco on March 20. Solinftec is on the short list of candidates recognized in the category of Most Innovative International Startup Series A and Beyond.

Solinftec launched their U.S. headquarters in 2019, with plans to cover 170 million North American acres by 2020. Their state-of-the-art IoT-based farm management system works to integrate and digitalize all aspects of farming operations. Powered by ALICE, the first virtual assistant in agriculture, Solinftec monitors all farming processes by embedding smart black boxes in ag machinery and sensors in the field (both soil and weather). This provides real-time, actionable recommendations with the potential to revolutionize American farm operations.

“We are humbled to be among this highly respected list of agrifood tech startups. At the core of Solinftec’s mission, we are committed to continuously bringing cutting-edge technology to the farm, so we can do our part to tackle the world’s food challenges. Solinftec is inspired and ready to be a global driver for digital agricultural. This recognition from such a prestigious committee is an honor,” stated Renato Hersz, Solinftec’s strategy and corporate development director.

Solinftec works with relevant commercial and technological partnerships with OEM manufacturers and cooperatives to accelerate services within the American market.
