CPT Exam 2014 Information

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is the first level of Chartered Accountancy examinations in India or in other words, CPT is a first step towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.

The exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year in the months of June and December.

The CPT Exam will be held in 147 cities spread across India, as well as at 4 other overseas places as follows: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha and Kathmandu.

Information Brochure and Hard copy of Application form can be collected from 4 April, 2014 till 25 April, 2014 from ICAI Bhawan, Delhi

Last Date to Apply: 24 April, 2014

Exam Date: CA CPT for June 2014 will be held on 22 June, 2014 (Sunday).

Examination Schedule:

Session- I is to be held in Morning from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Session - II is to be held in Afternoon from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude
