Insightin Health Veteran Michael Wood Joins Executive Team as Chief Strategy Officer
Accomplished healthcare leader to drive strategic planning across enterprise
BALTIMORE, September 10, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Insightin Health, provider of data-driven decision-making technology ™ for healthcare member acquisition, retention and engagement, announced the promotion of Michael Wood to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), effective as of April 2019. Wood joined the Insightin team back in March 2017 as the firm’s Director of Strategy and Product, where he provided strategic consulting and technology implementation strategy for clients and was later promoted to Vice President of Strategy and Product. In his last two years as Insightin’s Vice President of Strategy and Product, Wood has consistently shown great drive for putting clients first and a strong commitment towards delivering the best product.
In his new role as CSO, Wood will advise Founder and CEO Enam Noor, as well as the senior leadership team in setting Insightin Health’s strategic direction, with a particular focus on growing the company's product portfolio, including the exploration of new markets and strategic partnerships.
Wood has a strong background of more than 20 years in healthcare, technology and human change across multiple industries. He has extensive experience in both setting and implementing strategy and driving new, innovative product design and building key partnerships. Wood’s understanding of the Medicare Advantage marketplace provides the Insightin team with a strategic view from the health plan’s perspective. In addition to his healthcare background, he also has a proven track record in consulting and large-scale public transformation.
