Innovative New Comedy Venture 'Comedy Cloud' Provides a Cure for 'Zoom Fatigue'

Entrepreneur and Producer Ray Ellin Offers Companies a Way to Boost Employee Morale and Bring Levity to the Workplace

Entrepreneur and Producer Ray Ellin Launches Innovative New Comedy Venutre "Comedy Cloud"

Veteran comedian, producer and entrepreneur Ray Ellin has launched Comedy Cloud, a company that produces live, interactive, online comedy shows for businesses worldwide, featuring established comedians.

As corporate America looks for ways to keep employees engaged and motivated while working remotely, Comedy Cloud is an excellent resource. In the first six weeks since Ellin launched the offering, companies ranging from 50 to 900 remote workers booked more than 40 shows. Clients include Spirit Music Publishing Group, NYC Navigator, Keppler Speakers Bureau, and the charity Feed the Front Lines NYC, amongst others.

“It’s a way to break the monotony of working from home, reward employees, and fuel team building,” says Ellin, Comedy Cloud’s founder. “Comedy Cloud captures the magic of the shared experience that a comedy club provides, while effectively bringing the corporate world a shot of energy, a much-needed escape and morale boost.”

Comedy Cloud’s performers include a range of in-demand comedians who work in top comedy clubs like New York’s Comedy Cellar and LA’s Comedy Store. They have many television credits, including appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden, and Conan as well as America’s Got Talent and Last Comic Standing. Comedians include Pete Lee, Chuck Nice, Karen Bergreen, Dan Naturman, Ophira Eisenberg, and Tom Cotter.

“During the early days of the pandemic, I received several calls and emails from companies looking to do something special for their employees, many of whom were struggling with working remotely, taking care of their families, and worrying about COVID-19,” Ellin continued. “They wanted to give employees a means of escape. With these shows, they laugh. They get a chance to interact with each other, and not just during boring virtual meetings. At the same time, comedians get to perform for a live audience while venues are closed. It works for everyone.”
