Infinity Rehab Employee Appointed to Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board
Admission approved by Governor Kate Brown
WILSONVILLE, Ore. , December 9, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Kristin "Hoku" Okumura, Infinity Rehab Physical Therapist, will serve on the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board, starting January 2020.
The Oregon State Governor, Kate Brown, approved Okumura's admission to the board in November. Okumura's colleague, Brianne Salvati, Director of Professional Development with Infinity Rehab, also attended the event at the state capitol in support of Okumura.
Okumura has been a physical therapist for 10 years, seven of which she has worked with Infinity Rehab. With an immense background in physical therapy, a fellow Infinity Rehab team member and PT board member, Jennifer Julkowski, encouraged Okumura to apply for the board.
"As I learned more about the role of the licensing board, I came to appreciate the ethics work that they have done to maintain the integrity of our profession," Okumura shared.
Okumura looks forward to joining the board in 2020.

Okumura will join fellow Infinity Rehab clinicians Erica Goldsmith and Jennifer Julkowski on the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board, where Okumura looks forward to proudly representing their company.
