Industry Veteran Adam Ross, in Partnership With CION Investments, Launches CREM Capital

Adam Ross brings his vast real estate experience to form a student housing opportunity fund.

Adam Ross, former co-founder of student housing owner-operators Pragma Investments and Collegium Capital, has partnered with CION Investments, an NYC-based alternative investment manager, to launch CREM Capital (CREM). CREM combines a unique investment approach with the robust infrastructure needed to identify, source and invest across specialized opportunities in real estate.

CREM serves as advisor to CR Student Housing Fund, CREM’s initial fund that recently closed. The fund will leverage Mr. Ross’ vast university relationships, his ability to turn around difficult deals, and his expertise in identifying best-in-class operators and third-party property managers to make opportunistic investments in student housing projects.

“We believe that the potential of student housing assets in all market cycles is significant. Our focus is providing our investors greater yields by identifying specialized markets that are stable and growing or have an undersupply of quality housing inventory to satisfy market demand. Additionally, our deep experience with colleges and universities underscores a unique approach to adding value in the space – for our properties, our students and our investors,” commented Mr. Ross.
