Online, November 17, 2010 (Newswire.com) - In a well-attended ceremony held yesterday in Dennon, Michigan, IndestructibleDogToys.net (IndDT) was voted The Best Canine Lover 2010 by a panel made up of the most respected citizens of the community.
Community leader John Devoe, while handing over the trophy made of a golden - golden retriever, gave a brief history of the Competition.
According to him, The Best Canine Lover Award was established over 10 years ago to protect the Canine community in Dennon, especially the homeless ones. Previous winners of the award have always been members of the community, who has shown exceptional care and love for the Canine Community, either by helping orphaned dogs, by providing atleast5 adoptions or by donating food to the local dog pound.
This year's Award which was a deviation from the usual awards to private citizens and individuals, but to a corporate organization was because of the love and care exhibited by IndestructibleDogToys.net (IndDT) in the production of its array of dog toys, and also their donation of dog toys to dogs in the Community during their yearly Give Back to the Community projects.
Receiving the award on behalf of her company, Janet Walker company CEO,She thanked the organizers for considering her company worthy of such honor, and vowed to show more appreciation by producing better toys to satisfy their numerous customers worldwide.
In her speech, she narrated the humble beginnings of IndDT, from her love and care for her dog (Sumo) which later manifested into finding play things for Combs. Later friends started requesting she gets similar play toys for their dogs and from such request, IndDT was born. Today, IndDT serves the US market and other markets outside the US.

The event featured children carnivals and dog competitions such as race, fetch, and gymnastics by dogs. Citizens of Dennon, dog owners and lovers from neighboring Counties were present to have fun at the occasion. Describing the occasion, a housewife and dog owner and lover, Mrs. Helen said that the event provided avenues for dog owners and those in the dog business to interact and exchange firsthand information to the betterment of the parties involved.
Participants went home with several prizes, which include supplies of dog toys from IndDT, supplies of dog food from the local dog shop; music was presented by DJ Ramatazz to jive up the occasion.
