IMT Ghaziabad's MADF Members Spend a Day at Asha Vidyalaya
Online, January 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - It was a great day for the kids as it is seldom that people come to visit them and make them feel special. The date chosen for the visit was 26th November 2011 and this visit was a part of an event named Ehsaas.
The MADF crew members along with 20 volunteers reached AshaVidyalaya to meet and greet these special kids. The kids were more than happy to welcome their guests. The feelings were mutual as the MADF members and volunteers were also eager to be with the kids.
To the IMT G, MADF members, it was a joy watching the kids at Asha Vidyalaya run across the field playing football, challenging each other for a game of cricket, racing around while balancing lemons, playing musical chairs and indulging in various other joyous activities. Their carefree smiles and innocent faces could make you forget all the stress and tension of your everyday life.
There were a total of 175 kids and despite their odds each of them was high in spirits. Looking at them one realises that instead of getting depressed about what we don't have, we must cherish what we have and make the most of it.
The kids enjoyed the company of the IMT Ghaziabad, MADF members; it showed in the way they responded to their smile, love and affection. The cultural show organized by the MADF members was also liked by the kids; they took pleasure in watching Jagadeesh, Kanishka and Prashant's performances.
Not only are they good in sports, these small kids are great artists as well. This was evident from the kind of art and craft pieces they prepared. The members were lucky enough to sit through their art and craft session and watch them design creative pieces of art. The kids prepared beautiful cards using new and innovative ideas. Various things including match sticks, thermocol balls, ice-cream sticks, etc were used in the making of these cards. Each piece was so beautifully designed that the IMT Ghaziabad, MADF members found it very difficult when it came to judging and choosing as to which ones were better.
After the prize distribution and refreshment it was time to bid goodbye. The MADF members left Asha Vidyalaya with a heavy heart but a promise to be back soon. Parting was difficult for the members but there was a satisfaction that they had done a noble act by sharing love with the kids. The kids don't ask for much; just a bit of your time, a few kind words and some love can do the magic; it can light a smile on their faces and fill their little world with joy. And the magic does not only work for the kids it is reciprocal.
The members came back home recalling and cherishing the moments spent with the kids. They had collected some fond memories which would go down their memory lane.
