IBCCES Announces New Advisory Board Members
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., October 16, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) is welcoming three new members to its advisory board. IBCCES is based in Jacksonville, Florida, but works in all 50 states and 42 countries to provide certification and training programs in cognitive disorders such as autism, ADHD and other special needs to education, healthcare and corporate professionals.

Myron Pincomb, Board Chairman
Mae Barker, BCBA-D
Dr. Mae Barker is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with over 15 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She earned her doctorate in the Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences from Florida State University in 2005 and obtained board certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2002. Her past professional experiences include clinical director of the UF-Jacksonville Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, in-home behavior therapist, residential care staff and school-based behavioral specialist. Since 2005, Dr. Barker has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Florida, teaching graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. She has published research on child safety, contributed to the professional literature on inclusion of students with autism and developed a training CD to help teach parents how to play with their young children with ASD. At present, she provides ABA services to children, families and school personnel through Florida Autism Consultants and Educational Services and Parent Training Solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, running, reading and playing in the dirt.
Eric Rossen, Ph.D., NCSP
Eric Rossen, Ph.D., NCSP, is a nationally certified school psychologist and licensed psychologist in Maryland. He has experience working in public schools as well as in independent practice and is currently the director of professional development and standards for the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Dr. Rossen has published numerous manuscripts, three books and presented nationally on issues related to school psychological practices, trauma, mental health and school safety. He also has served as a college instructor and adjunct faculty at the University of Missouri and Prince George’s Community College in Maryland.
Kelly Flaherty Clark
Kelly Flaherty Clark is the zoological director of Discovery Cove, SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, and the incoming president of the International Marine Animal Trainers’ Association. Her responsibilities include managing the education and conservation initiatives and overseeing the health, behavior modification, training and enrichment for all of the animals (dolphins, otters, marmosets and other small mammals, sharks, rays, fish and birds) at Discovery Cove. She has multifaceted care, training and performing experience with animals ranging in size from small otters and birds to 12,000-pound killer whales and has received several international marine animal training and husbandry awards. Ms. Flaherty Clark is a graduate of The Ohio State University and is pursuing her masters in biology from Clemson University; she has been with SeaWorld for 32 years.
