Hyperion Global Partners Announces the Addition of Jane A. Bennitt as Director
Sugar Land, TX, March 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Hyperion Global Partners, a premier business and technology consulting practice to the legal profession, today announces the company has added Jane A. Bennitt as a Director to lead the company’s leading Enterprise Legal Management (“ELM”) Practice.
Hyperion’s Enterprise Legal Management Practice works with corporate law departments through active periods of transformation. Though the technologies and processes ELM captures have traditionally been addressed as matter management and e-billing, ELM as a discipline today is driven in large part by the new demands on the General Counsel and the expectations that today’s law departments are expected to serve a business function. From 2010, when Hyperion first endorsed the term Enterprise Legal Management, ELM has become a recognized management discipline and a strategic objective for corporate law departments.
With two decades of hands-on experience in implementing collaborative client/outside counsel solutions, Bennitt is a subject matter expert in ELM and the creation and deployment of collaborative case management, e-billing and contract management solutions.
“We are so thrilled to have Jane join our team,” stated Eyal Iffergan, president of Hyperion Global Partners. “With an expertise recognized around the world, and her extensive working knowledge and management acumen, Jane will work with both our law department and law firm clients to address their most pressing strategic and operational issues.”
As a long tenured leader in the development and growth global legal e-billing as a core operational discipline, Bennitt is able to bring a unique perspective to both law department and law firm management to help conceive, develop and implement technology improvement initiatives across a broad range of solution areas.
Prior to joining Hyperion Global Partners, Bennitt ran her own successful consulting practice, Global Legal E-billing. Prior to that, she held several management positions at well-known legal consultancies and ELM solution providers, including Hildebrandt Baker Robbins and TyMetrix. Bennitt served as President of the LEDES Oversight Committee from 2006 to 2014, and is the principal author of the LEDES XML 2.0 (2005) and 2.1 (2007) formats. She also led the LOC’s efforts to revise the UTBMS Activity and Expense Codes (2013) and update Timekeeper Classifications (2014), and in the creation of the Knowledge Management UTBMS code set (2014).
