Hudson Valley News reports new exclusive details surrounding Chelsea Clinton
Online, July 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Hudson Valley News which reported exclusive venue for Clinton wedding, reports new exclusive detais.
It was only last Thursday that the Hudson Valley News broke the story that Chelsea Clinton would be married in Rhinebeck , New York. Hudson Valley News Executive Editor Jim Langan is now able to fill in some of the details in this exclusive report.
According to Hudson Valley News Executive Editor Jim Langan,
As exclusively reported last Thursday, the nuptials will be held at the magnificent Astor Courts which is among the grandest of the legendary Hudson River mansions, and was commissioned by John Jacob Astor IV in 1902. Yet Langan has learned that for the Clinton's this 50 acre mansion is not nearly large enough to accommodate the 400 expected guests.
Langan's Sources confirm to Hudson Valley News that Loveland Landscaping of Rhinebeck has been retained to create a level outdoor space for a massive tent.
Langan's source told him that "The property is quite hilly and finding a level spot was proving difficult." Therefore a tent will come equipped with glass sides allowing for air conditioning for the July 31 event.
Hudson Valley News also learned on Saturday that Permits for massive generators have been obtained from the Rhinebeck Planning Board along with other one-day permits.
Langan also confirms that Local hotels have been booked under assumed names.
It has been widely reported that the guests will not be informed of the location until a week before the actual wedding.
Unconfirmed reports to Hudson Valley News indicate the rehearsal dinner will be held at the Rhinebeck estate of Clinton supporters Toni and Martin Sosnoff.
