Its popularity has been further boosted by the extremely customer-friendly exchange and refund policy adopted by the company.
A Celeste official explained what this policy was all about. The company's products can be bought at its showroom at Ali Hashemi Trading Est. Building, Sheikh Zayed Road as well as ordered online. The refund and exchange policy working in either case though there may be certain differences associated with both methods.
Mattresses bought from the store can be exchanged within seven days from delivery. For mattresses bought online, the exchange period is an extended 10 days. However, there should be no dirt marks, stains or any damage caused to the mattress, which would make the policy redundant. The product should remain in the original packed condition in order for exchanges to be valid.
As the Celeste official explained, if the customer decides to exchange the mattress for another one which is more expensive than the original purchase, the customer would have to pay the difference in price. If the second option is cheaper than the first, the customer would have to select accessories for the corresponding amount as no refunds will be made for the balance amount. Online purchases can be exchanged only for another product of the same value or store credit in a showroom.
The company regularly manufactures mattress sizes under four categories: Twin (120x200 cm), Queen (150x200 cm), King (180x200 cm) and California King for taller people (200x200 cm). Meanwhile, custom-designed mattresses are also produced for special orders. However, the exchange policy is applicable only for the regular-sized mattresses. The custom-designed mattresses will not be valid for exchange after the trial period as they have been specially built for a particular customer.
The company's much valued services include custom-built beds as well accessories for sleeping such as pillows and cushions. However, as with the specially designed mattresses, made-to-order beds cannot be exchanged or altered.
If the customer wishes to exchange the mattress, the company will pick it up free of charge. However, if the customer wishes to return the mattress within the trial period, a pick-up fee of 250 AED will be charged from them and the balance amount will be returned. There is no possibility of exchanging retail shop-bought goods with the cheaper goods available online.
All refunds made by Celeste would be processed according to the same method of payment used for the purchase, ex. if the customer used a credit card to pay for the purchase, the same credit card would be used to process the refund, which could take up to 30 days depending on the card provider. Purchases utilising cash or cheque will be refunded by the same method and can take up to 15 days.
The product comes with a 10-year warranty and the company ensures the best service with free delivery which would see the mattress being delivered to the customer's house within 24 hours after the order had been placed. Free shipping is also in place.
