Houston Realtor offers Clients a "partial extension" of the Tax Credit

Houston and Pearland Realtor Paul Silverman of Our First Nest Realty saw the impact the Federal First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit had on the market and decided something had to be done since the credit expires at the end of April for those who have not contracted on a home. In response to the expiration of this tax credit, Mr. Silverman will be offering his clients a 1% rebate of his commission on all homes until further notice. "This is my way of helping first time buyers in Houston to achieve homeownership" says Silverman. "This tax credit helped so many and my program is a way of recouping some of the loss of this tax credit."
