Hope for Haiti Launches New Logo and Website

Hope for Haiti Logo and Tagline

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Hope for Haiti launched a new logo and website. The new Hope for Haiti logo is first and foremost a tribute to the Haitian people and the country’s rich and diverse history. The blue and red colors mirror the Haitian flag while paying tribute to the colors used in Hope for Haiti’s original logo.

The logo is also symbolic of learning and continuous growth and serves as a reminder that the whole of the organization is much greater than the sum of its parts.

“Over the last 30 years, our organization has continuously demonstrated a fundamental belief that despite the challenges that exist in Haiti, there is always a pathway to a better life. For three decades, we have been committed to learning, continuous growth and positive impact, and we felt it was time to refresh the look and feel of our brand to support us in our efforts to engage more people in our mission,” said Hope for Haiti CEO Skyler Badenoch.

Badenoch added, “Because we are committed to minimizing our administrative and fundraising expenses, we will not be engaging in a large-scale campaign to announce and market the transition. Instead, our team will remain focused and disciplined in the implementation of effective poverty-alleviation programs that are improving the quality of life of Haitian people, particularly children.”

Tiffany Kuehner, Hope for Haiti’s board chair, explained, “It’s important for us to note that our logo has changed, but our mission, vision and unwavering support for the Haitian people are as strong as ever. We continue to partner with rural communities, the Haitian government, our donors and strategic partners to run programs that are proven to alleviate poverty by improving education, healthcare, access to clean water, infrastructure and economic opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people each year. We remain focused on transparency and accountability while keeping our administrative and overhead expenses as low as possible so that donations make the greatest impact on our programs.”

The Phoenix, Arizona-based marketing firm BIG YAM supported Hope for Haiti in developing its new logo and the Phoenix, Arizona-based web design firm FreshSparks helped design Hope for Haiti’s new website.
