Hometown Urgent Care Opening in North Dayton, Ohio, Mid-May 2019

Providing Local Community Same Day Medical Care Relief

Hometown Urgent Care and Occupational Health, Ohio’s largest urgent care system, is planning to open its 32nd facility at 3602 N. Main Street, Dayton, Ohio. The center is scheduled to open in Mid-May of 2019. Walk-in hours will be seven days a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., and Saturday – Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All insurances will be accepted including Medicare, CareSource and Medicaid plans.

The new center will also allow Hometown to meet the growing needs for high quality, on-demand, affordable healthcare for the North Dayton community and local employers. A much-needed relief since the closing of Good Samaritan Hospital in July 2018, which provided the community medical care services for the past 85 years.

Hometown Urgent Care helps fill a vital gap when you become sick or injured, but your regular doctor is not available and you can’t wait for an appointment. Typical symptoms (but not limited to) when to visit Hometown includes mild flu-like symptoms, rashes, infections, sore throat, minor breaks and bruises, or ear pain. No appointment is necessary with extended weekday hours, seven days a week.

Hometown also provides viable solutions to non-life-threatening conditions that usually result in an unnecessary emergency room visit. The center’s contemporary style ambiance with leading age equipment and treatment rooms (including digital X-ray and EKG) keeps an atmosphere that allows patients to be seen quickly without the burden of long wait times.

“A large number of emergency room visits are for non-life-threatening conditions and can be treated in center like Hometown. We also average a 45-minute total visit time,” said Manoj Kumar, CEO of Hometown Urgent Care.

Services will include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health, and an exclusive Workers’ Compensation injury management program that will provide as a one-stop healthcare resource for families and employers.

Hometown is known for its fast growth, and the North Dayton expansion will mark as the company’s 32nd and counting fully equipped medical clinic, a considerable landmark from the original three-locations-based company in Dayton, Ohio.
