Hometown Urgent Care, Ohio’s largest urgent care, has opened its third location in the Cuyahoga County area, providing the community with a new state-of-the-art choice for health care. The center is located at 12813 Rockside Road and will be open seven days a week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hometown Urgent Care, operating 36 locations in Ohio and Michigan, currently has locations in Parma, 7715 W. Ridgewood Road, and Shaker Heights, 20300 Chagrin Road, which both opened in December of 2017. All three locations provide Cuyahoga County residents better access to affordable health care.

“We understand there is a need for convenience, especially when your loved ones can’t wait to see the doctor,” said Manoj Kumar, president and CEO of Hometown Urgent Care. The clinic provides a full-service urgent care, offering a range of medical care for acute injuries and illnesses for all ages, from sports injuries to ear infections and from stitches to sneezes. “Patients do prefer the comfort of a full-service clinic. We’re like an ER for non-life threating conditions with shorter wait times and out-of-pocket costs.”

Hometown’s Garfield Heights center will maintain its contemporary style ambiance with leading-edge equipment and treatment rooms (including digital X-ray and EKG), in addition to creating an atmosphere that keeps patients comfortable and coming back; a key niche compared to traditional-style, walk-in clinics. There is no appointment necessary, and the clinic will be open seven days a week.

Services include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health, and an exclusive Workers’ Compensation injury management program that will provide as a one-stop health care resource for families and employers.

Kumar added, “Hometown strongly believes in working closely with local medical communities including hospitals, primary care physicians and specialists within the communities which will help improve the care coordination of our patients.”

Hometown is known for its fast growth and plans to continue expanding throughout Ohio. On March 3, 2020, the Garfield Heights location is one of two centers that opened on the same day. The other center in Columbus, Ohio, 1615 Morse Road, opened its doors as another resource for convenient, affordable health care to central Ohio. A considerable landmark from the original three-locations based company in Dayton, Ohio just 12 years prior. Today, Hometown Urgent Care is Ohio’s largest urgent care system and one of the Midwest’s largest providers, having expanded operations into Michigan.
