Hometown Urgent Care Expanding Again - Focused on Northeast Ohio With Aggressive Growth Strategy

Hometown Urgent Care

Hometown Urgent Care and Occupational Health, Ohio’s largest urgent care system, has announced plans to open multiple urgent care facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. The first set of locations to open in Fall 2018.

The planned locations are located in Massillon, Brunswick, Macedonia, Garfield Heights, Independence and Strongsville - all of which are located in Northeast Ohio.

The aggressive strategy allows Hometown to capitalize on its brand and service model, which provides a one-stop, low-cost convenient health care facility for urgent care, wellness and occupational health needs. Hometown’s employer partnerships will be able to use this as a viable solution for injury care management, pre- and ongoing employment services and employee health needs for the Northeast regions.

In December 2017, Hometown opened three locations in the Cleveland and Northeast areas of Ohio, capitalizing on its footprint to 29 locations and growing. “Hometown has always been an aggressive-growth company. The urgent care market has become very competitive but our success stems from the unbeatable value proposition we offer to local residents and employer communities. Our pricing, quality of care, range of services, state-of-the-art technology and our ability to leverage our data to provide more services at lower costs are unbeatable,” said Manoj Kumar, owner and CEO of Hometown Urgent Care.

Like the existing Hometown clinics, services will include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health and an exclusive workers’ compensation injury management program that will provide a one-stop health care resource for families and employers.

Kumar added, “Hometown strongly believes in working closely with local medical communities including hospitals, primary care physicians and specialists to increase the care coordination of its patients who need such services and plans to implement the same relationships in the Northeast Ohio areas. Hometown’s Specialists’ Access Program, Primary Care Partnership Program and Hospital Collaboration Programs allow the framework for such care coordination.”

With a 99.2 percent patient satisfaction rating, Hometown has significant strength in terms of understanding trends for on-demand care with its data and deep experience of seeing over two million patients in the last 11 years. Hometown is able to provide a high quality of care at a very low cost to their patients and employer partners due to their supplier relationships, outcome data capabilities, PQRS and marketing infrastructure.

Each Hometown location will maintain its modern ambiance and design within a health care setting. The facilities will include state-of-the-art equipment (including digital X-ray and EKG), treatment rooms and an atmosphere that keeps patients comfortable and returning for their health care needs - a key niche compared to the walk-in-style clinics located in grocery stores or pharmacies.

Hometown Urgent Care is Ohio’s largest urgent care system and one of the Midwest’s leading Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine providers with operations in Michigan. The 2018 Northeast expansion will extend on its current 29 locations - a considerable landmark from the original three-location, Dayton, Ohio, urgent care company in 2006.
