Los Angeles, California, November 1, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Join the Hollywood Production Center in their annual donation drive, starting Wednesday, November 1. Every year, the center promotes holiday donation drives and, repeating all the good that was done last year, tenants and neighbors and encouraged to help support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in 2017. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is a well-established nonprofit that helps to fight hunger in the Los Angeles County by distributing food to 1 million hungry people each year, including 400,000 children. The organization has been feeding the hungry for 40 years now. Donation boxes will be set up in the lobby of all our locations through November 18. For 43 years, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has worked to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger. Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has distributed more than 1 billion pounds of food. It provides food to 320,000 people every month and in 2015 we distributed 52 million meals–that’s more than 62 million pounds of food. Twenty percent of that food is fresh produce. Their efficiency and effectiveness led the LA Business Journal to name the Food Bank as the “Nonprofit Organization of the Year” among large local organizations in 2013. Hollywood Production Center loves to host holiday events and social gatherings for its beloved tenants, and the center is ready to reward its most festive tenant for the best Halloween costume of the season.
